Well, the secret's FINALLY out. For the past 9 months, I've been incubating a little bundle of joy and it's now in its final trimester. No, it's definitely not what you may think.

Introducing My Life As Fine Art  Red Bank, New Jersey STUDIO & SPA.

It's a beautiful space, where I have the ability to create the most amazing experience for my clients.

This is a house of worship of a different kind, where I can help my clients feel revered and honored, for the day...But in a way that will change their life.

Soaring ceilings and beautiful natural light flood the studio in a gorgeous fashion.

Finding and building this space has been a cathartic journey, a project of the soul that helps me deliver the very BEST photography experience in New Jersey and New York City.  It's also a prime destination for clients who travel and visit from beyond to indulge in the hip, hot town of Red Bank, New Jersey

But to me, this is so much more than a studio space in New Jersey. THIS IS A REBIRTH. I

It is a chance to create epic moments and profound memories in the privacy of this enclave.
It's a place where I can, without boundaries, create beautiful art that's meaningful and memorable.

It's not showy, pretentious or overindulgent. It's just... Heavenly.

And, once all the beautiful treasures of found antiques and luxe, up-cycled furniture are appointed, it will be ultimately swoon-worthy.

"Exclusive?" HELL NO. It's INCLUSIVE.

I always say "Custom Portraits are for Everyone". Everyone deserves to feel special. Art deserves to be preserved. And here, that's what happens. (And maybe just add a luxe organic massage while you're here)  ..winks.  ;)

ON THE RISE. A soaring staircase, made entirely of reclaimed wood from the church leads to a mezzanine loft space and heavenly skylit- setting.

RED BANK RESTAURANT WEEK BEGINS WITH BOUDOIR PHOTO SHOOT FOR DATE NIGHT

RED BANK RESTAURANT WEEK JUST GOT A LITTLE SEXIER!!!

RED BANK RESTAURANT WEEK JUST GOT A LITTLE SEXIER!!!

It's that time of year again, RED BANK RESTAURANT WEEK, when food lovers descend upon RED BANK New Jersey's culinary capital. Red Bank is also the home to my boudoir photo and portrait studio, Life As Fine Art by Cate Scaglione.

For me, one of the best things about living in Monmouth County is being so close to Red Bank. It is where my husband and I go to enjoy a chic, upscale evening with the best food outside of New York City. One might even argue, it's a better date night, with its old world charm and wonderful main-street vibe to stroll.

We love dining in Red Bank, and this year I decided to invite the rest of you all into town, to experience our little slice of culinary and shopping heaven.

As a boudoir photographer who creates glamourous photo shoots for women, men, couples boudoir photo shoots,  and even Boudoir Bachelorette parties or Ladies Night Outs.... I thought to myself, what could be a more spectacular evening than to start with a sultry, empowering photo session?

I have scheduled a week of photo sessions so my clients can enjoy my time, along with Red Bank Restaurant Week.

NJ AND NYC BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER APPEARS ON REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW JERSEY | Cate Scaglione Life As Fine Art

On October 12, Cate Scaglione of Life As Fine Art made a guest appearance on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Season 6 Episode 13, while photographing her client Amber Marchese

This very special episode commemorated Amber Marchese's positive prognosis of her 5-year Cancer Free Mark after aggressive form of Breast Cancer.  Cate's work was later displayed at the A.J. Dillon Gallery of Fine Art, which was also featured in the show.

"While it was an honor to be featured on the show, the real significance for me was being able to document this profoundly joyous milestone for my client here in Colts Neck, her home. I think her scars tell the story of what she and Jim went through, and that beautiful detail became a focal point throughout the session," Cate said. In addition, Cate hand painted two fine art paintings of Amber, which were symbolic of her journey.

"Amber is a very spiritual person and her faith and optimism were clearly part of her healing process. In consulting with her husband Jim, I wanted to really create a visual metaphor for both these emotions. That is what you see in the shining light, the path, the open skies and Amber as my subject."

Miss this episode? You can catch Cate's scenes with Amber here.

Amber also shares her breast cancer story, here on The Real Daytime talk show.

ANTIQUE INSPIRED BOUDOIR WARDROBE | NJ AND NYC BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER CATE SCAGLIONE

WARDROBE WEDNESDAY: ANTIQUE INSPIRED BOUDOIR ENSEMBLES

"We are all tied to our destiny and there is no way we can liberate ourselves."

...Sometimes I think I was born in another era. Or maybe, I wish I was!

When it comes to styling boudoir sessions, there is nothing I love more than to take a step back in time and revisit that luxe glamour of the 1940's. From the dresses to the undergarments, it was all so understated and yet so sophisticated. From my experience as a NYC and NJ boudoir photographer, women of all ages, body types and spirit look fantastic in this styling.

"Glamorous dresses were a luxury during most of the 1940s; times were hard due to world events. Dress manufacturers were allowed a specific amount of fabric and could not keep up with dress demand. As a result, women began to fashion their own style from the materials available to them, and took it upon themselves to create luxury out of minimal options. The results of their work were the fabulous and chic dresses of the 1940s."  (...Read more here).

Watching old movies from this era, it's clear to see the leading ladies of 1940s Hollywood had sharp tongues, a quick wit and killer style created all on their own. Yes, perhaps it was by the sign of the times, but the soft hues, lacy details and luxe comfort almost makes me think the women of that time created more for themselves than they did for their  men. I love that. It was a post-suffrage era that still echoed those rally cries of empowerment, but with an infusion of femininity and beauty, enjoyed just for her own sake. (The men at their feet? Simply a bonus.)

You'd be surprised to know that during my pre-session consultations, a large majority of my boudoir clients tell me they are booking their sessions more for their own enjoyment than their partner's. Much like the leading ladies of another time, we all know we deserve it.
